COASTAL SERVICE DOGS
Help me return to school with a Service Dog
My name is Michaela and I am trying to raise money to get a service dog.
Over the past year my medical issues have caused my life to come to a halt. I had to medically
withdraw from school and take 9 months off of work. While I have taken a lot of time to heal and
have been slowly able to get back to the things I enjoy, my medical team has recommended
that I get a service dog to help me succeed at my goals.
I had previously been training my dog, Moose, to be a service dog. However, she has had some
medical issues that have made her veterinary team recommend that she should not continue
working. So now she is going back to enjoying life as 100% spoiled couch potato.

Service Dog for Sloane
My name is Sloane and I’m fundraising training expenses for service dog Faolan who helps me
manage my physical and mental health. The reason I’m asking for your help is that owning and
training service dogs is ⭐astronomically⭐ expensive, and I can neither work more hours nor
take on more debt at this point.
How your donation would help me
In 2022, I rescued Faloan as a puppy because I needed a service dog to help me manage my
health. As a Swiss Shepherd, Faloan was a perfect fit for me: a kind temperament, a drive to
work, and his large size meant one day he could assist me with mobility tasks when my bone
syndrome (bilateral patella compression syndrome) causes my knees to dislocate

Service Dog for Country
Hi everyone! My name’s Country!
I struggle with debilitating psychiatric conditions that require help from my current Psychiatric
Service Dog, Bonnie. Unfortunately, as Bonnie gets older, the more cues she has began to miss
as well. She is ready to retire, but I still need help.
Before Bonnie, I was on many different meds. None of them worked long term and I was
becoming increasingly paranoid. Even over seemingly small things, I was terrified. I would call 911
if I heard a sound outside of my house, but with Bonnie, I feel safe.

and training with Coastal Service Dogs.
Thank you so much to everyone who donates to aiding Ella to be more independent in college.

A Service Dog for Miranda
Hi! I’m Miranda! I am working on fundraising money to get a multipurpose service dog to regain independence in my life and manage my ongoing mental disabilities.
A service dog as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is “a dog that has been
individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s)
performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability.”
Service dogs can vary greatly in price depending on many factors such as owner-trained vs fully
trained by an organization. The current average price of a service dog is $15,000 to $30,000
which includes breeding, raising, training, and placing the dog.
