This is a unique service that we’re excited to be able to offer!
Service dogs are an amazing resource for the disabled community. Unfortunately, the costs of these animals are not always easy for prospective or even existing handlers to figure out. This is where our expert budgeting consultant, Shira, comes in! If you’re looking to get your first service dog, we’re here to make sure you know what to expect financially, from buying your dog to having them decked out in fashionable gear. If you already have a service dog, we can assist you with financially planning for your next furry medical equipment, so when you’re ready, your wallet is too!
We Offer
- Providing a big-picture perspective of costs associated with owning a service dog, such as training, food, treats, toys, veterinary costs, transportation, etc.
- Reviewing spending habits to determine how much money a person can comfortably spend on their service dog per month.
- Assisting you in making a plan to save up money for a service dog.
- We can also give insight on the best ways to fundraise or obtain loans to pay for a service dog based on eligibility for different grants and programs.
