Refund and Returns Policy
Overview
We want you to feel confident in your purchase with Coastal Service Dogs. If you need to request a return or refund, please review our policy below.
- Our refund and return policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. After 30 days, we are unable to offer a full refund or exchange.
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging.
- Certain items are non-returnable, including:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable digital products
- Perishable goods (such as food)
- Intimate or sanitary items
- Hazardous materials or flammable liquids/gases
- Select health and personal care products
To process a return, you will need a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Partial Refunds
In some cases, only partial refunds may be granted:
- Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original payment method within a few business days.

Sale Items
Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items are non-refundable.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please email train@coastalservicedogs.com and send your item to: [1402 Peverly Road, Abingdon, MD, 21009].
Gifts
- If an item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once received, a gift certificate will be issued.
- If the item wasn’t marked as a gift or was shipped to the gift giver first, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
Shipping Returns

- You are responsible for covering your shipping costs for returns. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your total refund.
